I also noticed something:
If you uninstall from the start menu, nothing gets uninstalled.
But, if you use the Add / Remove Programs from Control Panel, it gets properly uninstalled

You can download some of the replacement icons from http://bittornado.com/download.html or don't uninstall the previous version of bittornado.

Surely Shad0w will fix the installer package soon.

The make it work properly, copy the icons from directory

C:\Documents and Settings\'User name'\Application Data\.BitTornado\icons

to the directory where you have installed Bittornado
then it works fine
