That sounds almost like an error trying to resolve the IP address of the torrent's tracker. (Just guessing) Which could mean that the tracker URL is not set properly in the torrent file or could mean for some reason you can't resolve the tracker site either due to DNS problems or whatever.

seems possibly the tracker for that torrent is down, if its a suprnova link then i know they have had some troubles, if so, delete the torrent file and go back to the site, download the torrent and try to run it from your computer

If this is in "problem connecting to tracker", it means the DNS for the tracker went down. This isn't something you can easily correct for, I'm afraid; you can try again later and hope their DNS is back up, but that's about it...

i tried torrents from torrentreactor.net, suprnova.org, and 1 other place i don't remember, but none of them worked. It's possible this is just a coincidence, and all 3 DNS's were in fact down. didn't think it likely at first though.

I just ran torrent spy on these torrents

i get the same Error #1001|| Host not found.

Does this mean the trackers are all down?

Try the "wallpaper" torrent on that site. If it doesn't work, it indicates other problems with your system.

It's a bummer to hear of more problems with this client. In another thread here, a person
described this exact error occurring right after they installed XP SP2.

M$ has been known to break things on purpose so that competing software
has to be rewritten. In the meantime, if Shadow doesn't offer any help,
I suggest Azureus because it just plain works.
