Post subject:  router or firewall problem?

Hi

when trying to download I get this answer:
"ERROR ..date/time.............Problem connecting to tracker"
The ball up in the right corner is black.

I use a router/modem THOMSON TG585 v7 and firewall Zonealarm Extreme Security

I guess, many things that could be wrong.

Any suggestions what to try?

Regards
Berrax

Run the torrent in this message: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1457

If it gives you the same error, it's a problem with your network security software.

If it gives you a different error, the tracker for the torrent you're trying to download is down. Be patient, it may come back up; BitTornado will automatically retry. If it doesn't come back up, check with the site you obtained the torrent file from.

Hi Shadow,

thanks for your help.

I tryed the connection checker and I got the result:
"rejected by tracker - I can connect to you. Perfect score"............the light was black.
First part not so good (?), second part must be ok (?)..........Any ideas what i could be?

Now I have tryed some different downloads but only one (the last) works without failure reports. No changes have been done in the settings of router/firewall.
It is possible that my problems are not caused by my own system - perhaps the files were not available?

Anyhow, thanks for your reply.

It's all trouble with the torrents you're trying to download. As I said, contact the source.
