It may stay in memory for a little while as it tries to send one last message to the tracker notifying it that it's left the swarm. It should disappear within 30 seconds. Please let me know if you're seeing it stick around for longer than that.

First test:
1 torrent > connected on 1 tracker for 8minutes => 51sec to end (btdownlaodgui.exe).

Second test:
2 torrents on the same tracker > connected for 10 min :
- 1 btdownloadgui.exe ended after 1min 45sec
- the second won't to end.. so I take a look with TCPview and saw 3 connections on the tracker, when I closed the 3 connections btdownloadgui.exe disappeared.

Yes, exactly the same problem here.

And it gets worse if you start multiple clients, most of them remain until explicitly "killed".

If I press "Cancel" during a transfer that client will never end, just close/hide it's window.

Happens in Win2K-SP4 and WinXP-SP1 (all "critical" patches applied).

Okay. I've devised a fix that *should* solve the problem, hopefully. Please watch for BitTornado 0.1.0.
