Hi, I got quite a simple problem... i am using the experimental (and stable) tar.gz versions on Linux:

I keep my .torrent files in a different directory than where I want my files downloaded, with the original python BT client I usually went:
cd ~directory_where_i_want_my_downloads ; btlaunchmanycurses.py ~/my_torrent_files_directory/

With bittornado the torrents automatically seem to be downloaded to the torrents directory, which results in a very messy directory structure.

Am I missing something stupid to make it behave like the original client in the file-download regard?

Thanks!

Add "--saveas directory_where_to_save --saveas_style 2" to the commandline.
This will save the downloads just like the gui version. If you use "--saveas_style 3" the downloads will be saved additionally in a subfolder with the torrent name. Also if you add "--save_options 1" the settings will be saved to an ini-file, so you don't have to supply --saveas and --saveas_style everytime.
