i expierenced a bug wit 0.3.1

i downloaded a file at 50kb. then i paused the download and startet playing CS. but my ping sucked so i took a look at the inet-traffic with Kerio Pers. Firewall.(it has an Overview-page where all connections/down- and upload speeds are listed).

and what did i see? btdownloadgui still had 20kb download and 6kb upload, but it was paused! i monitored it a few more minutes and it kept on and on and on... until i shut the prog down

The pause function in BitTornado is a bit hackish. It basically drops a spanner into the engine's operation. As a result, you'll often get a small amount of data going in/out for a minute or so after hitting Pause. A cleaner pause function is in the works, but isn't available yet.
