Installed the latest version of Bittornado and all was going fine, then i came back and found that the numbers were no longer moving but the light was still the same. So I closed it and opened it again and the numbers started going again so i left, came back about 30 mins later only to find that yet again it was frozen in time :). Went and found out about manual announce (as all the sources had just vanished from that table), it did nothing whatsoever. Tried closing and opening one more time, works for a short period and then just stops.

As i'd gotten sick of having to rstart this thing i uninstalled and went back to the Client straight off the Bitconjurer webpage. It works perfectly, never stops.

I was just wondering if anyone else is having this bug. I'd like to use Bittornado because it seems to have a few features I like, any ideas on how to fix this problem?

heh. With the amount of complaints of freezing, how long until you have code that goes "if windows == true, default max peers = 55" ? Then note in the preferences, "you are running windows. increase the max peers at your own risk!"

Probably never... Increasing this value introduces a potential DoS method where an attacker can simply fill peoples' available slots until no data moves in the torrent. I will be, and still am, working on other ways to solve the problem automatically.
