hi people im a not so experienced mac user
i run under mac os x

i use bit torrent on my windows machine but due to lack of space and speed i want to use it on my mac.....

but i dont know how to get it installed and running..... can anybody help me out :?: :?:

and i already found macpython osx 2.3.3

but now im really stuck

and do what is described there. Just a warning: if you use a slow machine <400MHz, you're gonna have at least 50% CPU usage with btdownloadgui.py. Maybe you wanna familiarize yourself with btdownloadcurses.py. But you need quite a lot of UNIX console knowledge to get that working.

thanx for the link.......... i dont have that much experience in unix systems to understand this....... is there a easy-to-use program to download torrents on max os x (10.2) like bit tornado on a windows machine

i almost gathered that :lol: well ok, i would not recommend the official bt client because it does not allow upload limitation, so you'll have your internet connection congested while downloading. therefore azureus isnt bad:

all the same, bittornado is the best i've tried!
