i had BT for a few days but suddenly one day there was the Error 13 permission Denied error message. I've tried deleting all of the files that weren't complete and re-downloading but the ssame error message keeps coming up. i've restarted my computer and i'm not under a firewall.
But this happened when i tried to delete one of the files recently:

My disk isn't full and i don't think its write protected but i'm pretty sure it was in use but in use by wat? =/ after a while i tried deleting again and it worked. Ne1 noe wats wrong?

First, and this is just my observation...the more online shorthand you use in a post, the less likely it is someone will reply to it. So asking anything to the effect of "Ne1 noe wats wrong?" is probably a serious lessening of the chance of someone replying.

Second, as far as your problem. Offhand, Windows XP might be trying to index the files of the Naruto anime you just downloaded, if you had the folder open. Another possibility is that, for some reason, someone else was accessing the files. Did you leave a BitTorrent window open and forget about it, or perhaps it crashed? Perhaps someone was browsing a file share you might have set up under Windows, Direct Connect, or whatever your favorite program is (KaZaA comes to mind). Yet another choice is that you were playing the files at some point, in Windows Media Player, or similar, and they were still trying to access it while you did this.

Personally, I would really lean toward the thumbnail excuse (Windows was trying to thumbnail the files), or possibly that, as Windows tends to do, it was attempting to acquire metadata (like title, date written) from the files, and wouldn't let you close them.

And if you're using something other than Windows...I can come up with half a million other reasons.
