So this didn't happen until recently, but I've noticed an increase in "Failed Hash Check" issues.

But it still doesn't happen too often. But when it does, it keeps downloading the same piece over and over and over and over again. And that seems to be the only piece that fails.

One example is I was downloading a 175mb file, it failed hash check, so I turned it off, turned it back on. It downloaded 3GB of the same piece over and over and over again, and it still failed.

WTF is wrong?

I have kick/ban ip clients that send bad data on. :/
And I doubt it's my system either. I run 2 instances of folding@home 24/7 on this machine, and it never crashes. Memtest is perfect too.

Try disconnecting your router and plugging your computer directly into the uplink.

You can also try finish allocation under the advanced tab, then compare the filesize of the torrent (under details) with the filesize in windows explorer (right mouse, properties).

I figured out the problem...too many stupid people are turning off file hash checking. So once one person gets that bad hash, it spreads like an infectious disease.

I checked the details thing and I watched the client cycle through ALL the peers I was connected to, until I finally connected to one that had the proper hash check...(took 3 hours to do)
